Rules
- Follow the basic Rules of the Proboards. I know very few people read through them, so to put it simply; Use common sense!
- Make sure you've read the Plot. It's not all that important, but still.
- It's fun to cuss and all, but please don't go over board with foul language, some people may not be all too comfortable with it. I know some characters have a habit of cussing a lot, but don't get carried away with it.
- The Question board is there for a reason, if you have a question about anything please drop a post in there. You can also ask in the C-Box if I'm on! ((Update: Since Lily is no longer the admin on this forum, ask BelarussianStalker on the cbox.))
- I haven't ever seen this happen, but please don't spam the C-Box with ads for things like hair cream and such, posting your site is fine but don't spam it, that's what the 'Advertisement' board is for.
- Please do not post anything sexual on the Forum, Proboards forbids that.
- Because me and any future Staff members have the right to ask you to stop doing something that is breaking either my or Proboards rules, you need to stop. If not, you will be warned. And just like baseball, Three Strikes You're Out!
Chat box Rules
- The chat box is not for roleplaying extremely sexual scenes, take it somewhere else. Some people are not comfortable seeing that go down, so please be respectful. And in that, younger users may join and I'd rather not have them scarred... Or something like that.
- The C-Box roleplay will also be based in the Medieval Ages, but it does not affect the Forum Roleplay.
- C-Box roleplay is encouraged, it gets ideas flowing and helps you make new friends!
- Please include new members in C-Box business, I know how it feels to be a new member but fill unincluded, so try and include others in on the fun and games, too?
- Any roleplaying that goes on in the C-Box does not affect the forum, so if you 'die' in the C-Box or something, you're still alive on the Forum. And, uh, if you do die on the C-Box feel free to come back to life?
- Spot a new-comer? Please be nice, being mean to someone new isn't acceptable unless they came in being jerks. But still, turn the other cheek maybe?
- TALKING IN ALL CAPS IS FUN AND ALL, BUT IT CAN BE A BIT ALARMING TO NEW COMERS. So, please, don't Cap-Spam all the time. If you don't like something, you in return should not do it.
- C-Box profiles must be of the same character you are on the Forum, if you're Switzerland on the Forum you cannot be Germany on the C-Box, you must be Switzerland.
- If some people are roleplaying on the C-Box, please post OOC comments in brackets, parenthesis or any of those others things (ex: (), {}, or []).
Roleplaying Rules
- No god-modding, it's uncool and annoying. That means, no dodging every single blow if you're in a brawl with someone. And no controlling the other persons character.
- No killing a members character off. At. All.
- Please use the best grammar you are able to, I know I'm not the best but it's readable, right? No text-talk in posts. I will not tolerate that! And the Shift Button is there for a reason, please Capitalize where needed.
- Please do your best to keep characters In Character. I know this may be hard for some characters, but everyone knows Germany doesn't spend his days twirling around in a pink tutu whilst singing Prussia lovely songs in French. If a character is portrayed as worrisome, gentle, and a push-over please keep him/her like that. If a character is portrayed as a drunk idiot who goes around exclaiming how awesome he/she is, please keep it him/her like that. No portraying a Tsundere character as moe.
- Because inactive members eat up the Character List, there will be Monthly Activity Checks. Also, please try to post in at least on thread within a two-week time period, it's not too much to ask, right?
- Now, this is very important. To prove that you have read the rules, please put put "Aye" after "Have you read the rules?".
- Because I've seen this problem before, if you and a couple characters plan to be in a thread and only those characters, please post in the Topic saying so (ex: Germany's House [[Germany, Prussia, and Switzerland]]). That way other members know not to post in those sorts of topics.
- This is a PG-13 Forum. What is PG-13? Well, for one it's not Rated-R. That means, again, no sexual activity. ProBoards Admins do check the sites, so there isn't any 'getting away with it'. And it's not hard to do things like that somewhere else. Just keep things at a PG-13 level.
- I'm going to be using an example for this, say I roleplayed England. I like USUK, and I want that pairing. I am not allowed to just say it's a pairing. The America may like AmeRus or something like that. Basically, a pairing must be Agreed on before it's made Official.
- Absolutely no Pairing Wars, if that problem comes up then I'll have to banish the pairing.
- Since this is a Literate Roleplay Forum, there is a Minimum Word Limit. Please keep your posts around 180-250 Words Long. They can be longer, in fact that would be great! But no going below the 180 in posts. There is a Word Counter under the Post Box, so you'll be able to keep a eye on how many words you've typed.
- You can be in as many Threads as you want, but please don't try to take on more than you can handle. People don't want to wait forever for a reply. If you are not someone who can keep up with multiple threads, please refrain from joining a lot of threads.
- Event Threads are Mandatory. Every member has to join in on the thread, no if, ands, or buts about it. If you really wish to not participate then please PM me ((aka Belarus/Natalia Arlovskaya)) and give me a good reason. Now, if you're busy or something then you're able to get out of it.
- When creating a thread please state whether you are in Hazara or Kimsburg in either the title topic or post itself.
Medieval Rules
- Though the Forum is basically a Medieval Magical Creature 'verse, the roleplaying do not have to revolve around magical creatures and what not. Sure, paranoid humans may fear the creatures due to them being different, but it doesn't have to revolve around that. Otherwise it may get boring rather quickly.
- Because I don't want to make a lot of towns and only a few are actually being used, there is only going to be two towns that will be used for roleplay. If more are needed, I can easily make another.
- Because the idea of having nobles is awesome to me, there will be two noble families. One for each villaege Hazara and Kimsburg. Not everyone can be a noble. First come, first served. If both noble families are taken, to bad.
- Characters are free to travel between villages, but if they are serfs make sure they don't get caught and such, yeah? Be realistic, there are no cars in this era so it'd take a few days worth of walking to travel. That being said, plan out your threads accordingly to traveling.
- Pairings may have one character from a certain Village and the other from another, but you might want to consider one of them moving in order to cut the traveling?
- No being a magical creature unless approved by me. I'd rather just it be humans for now, maybe eventually magical creatures will be allowed. But you'll really have to prove you know all about the creature you want.
Character Reservation / Application Rules
Applications Have One Week To Be Submitted!
- When you make a character application, use the Character Template I have created. No other information is needed, but please feel free to elaborate on the Application.
- All Character Reservations are held for a week. If you need more time please state so by either PMing me or posting again in the Reservation List saying so. After that, you'll be given an additional week to work with.
- Seeing as this is a literate roleplay forum, be detailed when creating your application. If you give me small smidgens I'll have to ask you to elaborate more.
- Gender-Bending; See Reservation List for Details.
- If you wish to drop a character for someone else, feel free to. But if you have been posting in Threads a lot with the character you wish to drop, then you'll be denied
- Everyone is allowed Two Canon Characters and One OC.
- OC's; See Reservation List For Details.
- To be able to be more than one character, you must have a certain amount of posts, and be active and can prove you are able to play more than one character.
- Even if you are active on the C-Box, you still are required to post in a thread at least one every two weeks. If not, you will be warned. Three strikes and your character is free.
- If you decide to be more than one character, please create a separate account for your characters. But no having to characters and having them paired up together (ex: I'm Liechtenstein then Prussia, and have a LiechxPrussia pairing with myself).
